The ingredients needed to make KOFTA CURRY!:
  1. Get Step 1: Kofta/ meat balls
  2. Prepare 500 g beef mince(fat free)
  3. Take 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  4. Take 1/2 cup bhona Chana(make powder)
  5. Get 1 tsp red chili powder
  6. Take 1 tsp garam masala powder
  7. Take 1 tsp salt
  8. Get 3 tbs coriander leaves
  9. Make ready 1 medium onion
  10. Get 1/2 infer
  11. Make ready 1/2 inch ginger piece
  12. Take 2-3 green chilies
  13. Prepare Curry/shorba
  14. Prepare 1/2 cup oil
  15. Make ready 1 large onion paste
  16. Prepare 1 bay leaf
  17. Get 1 small cinnamon stick
  18. Take 3-4 cloves(loong)
  19. Make ready 1 black cardamom(bari Elaichi)
  20. Make ready 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  21. Make ready 1 tsp red chili powder
  22. Make ready 1/2 tsp turmeric
  23. Get 1/2 tsp salt(or to taste)
  24. Prepare 1 tsp coriander powder
  25. Make ready 2 tomatoes(finely chopped or make a purée)
  26. Prepare 1 tbsp tomato paste
  27. Get 2 & 1/2 cups water

Serve mix vegetable kofta curry with chapatis, naan or jeera rice or plain paratha. Typically, these kofta balls are then tossed in a cream based curry and enjoyed with a bread (like naan) or rice. Steps to make KOFTA CURRY!:
  1. For koftas/ meat balls: Add beef mince, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder and 1 tsp salt, grind it.
  2. Then grind coriander, ginger piece, green chilies and onion separately.
  3. Add bhona Chana powder and coriander onion mixture in beef mince, n grind it well as shown in picture.
  4. Now grease you hands with lil oil and make koftas/ meat balls. It will make 15 kofta/ meatballs. Keep them in fridge for 10 minutes.
  5. For curry: Add 1/2 cup oil in a pan. Add 1 large onion paste and sauté it for 4-5 mins.
  6. Then add the whole spices(bay leaf, cloves, black cardamom, cinnamon) and 1 tsp ginger garlic paste,1 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp salt(or to taste) and 1 tsp coriander powder. Sauté it for 2-3 min.
  7. Then add 2 chopped/ puréed tomatoes, 1 tbsp tomato paste, mix.
  8. Add 1/2 cup water. Cook it until oil separates.(basically masala bhonna hy)
  9. Add 2 & 1/2 cups of water, cook it for 10 mins on low flame.
  10. When the water starts boiling gently add koftas. And let it cook for 15-20 minutes on low flame.
  11. PS: don’t use spoon to turn the meatballs, only tilt a pan.
  12. Garnish with green chilies, coriander and sprinkle some garam masala powder. ENJOY IT WITH CHAPATI OR NAAN😋
  13. You can make the meat balls and freeze them in a ziplock bag.
