- Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric pwder
- Make ready 1/2 tsp garam masala pwder
- Make ready 1 tblspn ginger garlic pastr
- Prepare 2 tomatoes
- Get Oil as req
Directions: Make gashes on eggplant with the help of knife & insert garlic clove slice in each gash and prepare all eggplants in the same manner. Steps to make Shami koftay:
- Soak dal at least half hr
- Wash mince and drain completly
- Now take a pot add mince.dal.salt.red button chillies.garlic.ginger. black pepper.long cinemon stick. Black cardamom and 1 onion slice.and water
- Boil it when it's become tender then cool at room temperature
- After that grind it.
- Now add seasoning in this mixture like green chillies green coriander. 1 chopped onion.garam masala powder 1 egg.mix all the spices together.
- Make balls of it
- Beat 1 egg and beat it
- Dip balls in the egg then fry them
- Now blend 1 onion and cut 1 onion into slices.
- Fry slice onion in the oil.
- When it's become golden then add spices salt onion paste. Ginger garlic paste.red chilli.coriander powder.turmeric powder and tomatoes.
- Bhunfy well this masala.
- Add water in this masala let it cook then add koftay
- Keep on simmer reduce the gravy as per requirement
- Sprinkle garam masala powder and green coriander on it
- Serve with nan or chappati
